Amy Escoto
My Favorite Hat
Amy’s favorite hat is the chef’s hat. The best chefs bring art and science, knowledge and creativity, old standards and innovation to each recipe, and do it with enthusiasm and pride! Amy loves to bring new twists to old recipes and create new ideas from scratch while remembering that sometimes there is no need to mess with an old classic.
Head in the clouds, big picture, grand ideas thinker with the ability to stay grounded. Passionate about making the world a better place. Amy’s favorite foods involve cheese or chocolate- but never at the same time.
Amy brings to Dunleavy & Associates over 2 decades of experience in a variety of nonprofits in multiple countries including Ecuador, Jamaica, United States, and Honduras- which has been her home for most of her adult life. She has a range of experiences including leadership, program coordination, volunteer management, education, and lots of children and youth centered work. Amy is known for her resourceful approach to confronting challenges, her ability to always keep the big picture in mind, and her enthusiasm.
Fluent in Spanish, Amy has an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Saint Anselm College and a Masters in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire
