Susannah Coleman

Susannah Coleman comes to Dunleavy & Associates with a depth of experience in higher education, health care and faith-based organizations, having practiced the art and science of fundraising since 1992, and on both sides of the Atlantic. In 2000 Susannah moved to Bucks County, working in Development in PA and NJ and serving some of the most successful non-profit organizations in the nation, as well as those in the start-up phase. Susannah has extensive experience recruiting, training and leading teams. She also has a track record of helping organizations improve their systems and processes to enable data-driven decision making, while at the same time developing deep, authentic connections with their stakeholders. In her most recent position as vice president for institutional advancement at a small, Catholic, liberal arts college, Susannah led a team of staff and volunteers to exceed goals and achieve a 22% increase year-over-year for nearly five years, resulting in a near doubling of gifts revenue.

Completing a Master of Arts degree in Philanthropic Studies (2021), Susannah earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Plymouth in Environmental Science, and a postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Exeter. Susannah is a veteran of Britain’s Royal Navy.

In her role with Dunleavy & Associates, Susannah serves clients as an interim member of staff, advises on strategy and capacity-building, and conducts executive searches.
